In June of 2021, Wethering Heights Farm rescued 3 adorable Pekin Ducklings that could not walk. They were given chicken feed which doesn't have enough niacin for ducklings. After a few weeks of careful care and the right nutrition, these ducks began the slow physical therapy of learning to walk.
These Ducklings are now a little over 3 months old and thriving here at the Farm. Their house is being built and we will move them to their permanent home. They will have a picket fence around their home to keep them safe from predators. They get along well with the chickens and will be next door neighbors to them. These are some lucky ducks!
